I want to thank you so much for taking time to talk with my mom and I.  
I think you are such a keen observer and am shocked at your ability to identify my parent's  (my family essentially) situation and were able to offer such good thoughts on the matter.  You asked my mom some questions and made her really think about some different things and I think it's a step in the right direction for them both.

You brought to the surface some really important questions and thoughts for my mom without making her feel bad.  I can be a bit harsher and it was really wonderful for me to see you laugh with her and ask some tough questions without even knowing her.
